Coastal Revival with Modern Elegance
Perched atop the bluffs of Montauk’s Old Montauk Highway, the Panoramic View Resort has long stood as a testament to timeless seaside charm. Our architectural team embarked on a comprehensive renovation to rejuvenate this iconic property, which encompasses 12 oceanfront townhouses, three beachfront cottages, and 50 hotel rooms spread across 1,000 feet of pristine Atlantic shoreline. The objective was to harmoniously blend the resort’s storied past with contemporary design elements, ensuring it meets the expectations of today’s discerning travelers.
Central to our approach was the preservation of the resort’s unique character while enhancing its structural and aesthetic appeal. We meticulously restored the existing townhouses and cottages, introducing modern amenities and finishes that reflect the coastal environment. Natural materials, such as weathered wood and stone, were selected to echo the surrounding landscape, while expansive windows and open floor plans were incorporated to maximize ocean views and natural light.
The renovation also focused on sustainability and resilience, given the property’s exposure to coastal elements. We implemented advanced building techniques and materials designed to withstand the harsh marine climate, ensuring longevity and reduced environmental impact. Landscaping was thoughtfully redesigned to include native plant species, promoting local biodiversity and reducing maintenance requirements.
This revitalization of the Panoramic View Resort not only preserves a cherished piece of Montauk’s heritage but also re-positions it as a premier destination for luxury and relaxation. Our team is proud to have played a pivotal role in breathing new life into this coastal gem, seamlessly integrating historical reverence with modern sophistication
